Documentation of a 7.5 hour durational performance that took place at the Fralin Museum of Art at the University of Virginia. The piece explores the invisible authority of the museum and the power dynamics of the gaze upon the Other that it engenders. The headdress is welded steel, found metal, and mixed textiles.
