In this piece my body becomes the surface on which images of my mother are projected. I attempt to align my body with these images, creating moments of cohesion and disjuncture. The goal is not to attain perpetual alignment, but to enact the ambivalence inherent in intimate relationships while searching for a strategy to exist as an individual within this intimacy.
